As Saviour Empowerment CIC continues its journey, we are encouraged by the progress we are making and the opportunities developing around us.

Our programmes are designed to help people gain more than information. We want participants to develop the confidence to use what they learn in their everyday lives.

A person may have access to a smartphone, tablet or computer but still feel unable to complete an online application, prepare a professional document or use digital services safely. Another person may possess valuable talents but lack the confidence to communicate, pursue employment or develop an enterprise idea.

This is why our approach brings together digital skills, practical support and personal development.

We want participants to move from:

  • Uncertainty to confidence
  • Digital exclusion to active participation
  • Dependency to greater independence
  • Ideas to practical action
  • Isolation to community connection
  • Barriers to new opportunities

Our recent activities have included discussions on successful negotiation, communication and the practical skills people need to navigate everyday situations.

We are also continuing to identify the different needs within our community. This includes the needs of older people, unpaid carers, people with disabilities, parents of children with additional needs, jobseekers and residents who lack confidence with technology.

Our impact will not be measured only by the number of sessions we deliver. It will also be seen when someone completes a task independently, applies for an opportunity, communicates more confidently or uses a new skill to help another person.

We remain committed to learning, improving and building an organisation that creates meaningful and lasting community benefit.

The journey is developing, and we are excited about what lies ahead.
