Volunteers can make an extraordinary difference within their communities. They contribute their time, knowledge, compassion and experience to help other people overcome barriers and discover new possibilities.

At Saviour Empowerment CIC, volunteers will play an important part in helping us expand our services and reach more residents.

We are pleased to have secured an appointment with an Urmston Volunteer Coordinator. This will provide an opportunity to discuss our community work, volunteering needs and the development of meaningful roles for people who want to make a difference.

We are particularly interested in developing roles such as:

  • Digital Skills Volunteers
  • Digital Assistance Volunteers
  • Community Engagement Volunteers
  • Flier Distribution and Outreach Volunteers
  • Administrative Support Volunteers
  • Workshop Assistants
  • Mentors and Guest Facilitators

Our volunteers may help participants use devices, create email accounts, complete online forms, prepare CVs, access information or practise new digital skills. Community Engagement Volunteers may help us raise awareness, welcome participants and strengthen connections with local residents and organisations.

We want volunteering with Saviour Empowerment CIC to be beneficial for everyone involved. Volunteers should have opportunities to gain experience, build confidence, develop transferable skills and contribute to positive community change.

We will also work to ensure that volunteer roles are clearly defined, appropriately supported and delivered within suitable safeguarding and confidentiality arrangements.

As our work grows at the VCAT Shared Space Initiative, we look forward to welcoming volunteers who share our values of integrity, inclusion, empowerment, collaboration and service.

If you have skills, experience or simply a willingness to help others, there may be a place for you within our growing community.
