Older people possess valuable knowledge, skills, stories and life experience. However, some may experience digital exclusion, loneliness, reduced confidence or difficulty accessing services that have increasingly moved online.
Volunteers can make an extraordinary difference within their communities. They contribute their time, knowledge, compassion and experience to help other people overcome barriers and discover new possibilities.
A welcoming and accessible base will help us provide practical learning, engage more effectively with local residents and develop relationships with other voluntary, community, faith and social-enterprise organisations.
As we continue reaching into the community, we are also building relationships with community organisations, local services, volunteers and other partners. Collaboration allows us to reach more people and develop services that are inclusive, practical and sustainable.
At Saviour Empowerment CIC, we recently explored several practical principles for successful negotiation. Our sessions helped participants understand that good negotiation is not about defeating another person. It is about communicating effectively, understanding different needs and working towards an outcome that is fair and beneficial.
At Saviour Empowerment CIC, we do not want only to complete digital tasks on behalf of people. Wherever possible, we help people develop the knowledge and confidence to complete those tasks independently.
We are delighted to introduce Saviour Empowerment CIC, a community interest company established to help individuals and families develop the practical skills, confidence and knowledge they need to thrive in todayโs changing world.
